Card has corner/edge/surface wear and creases along with some light pencil marks on the back. The color/focus on the front are very strong and the printing on the centering is average for the set. Van Lingle Mungo played 14 seasons in the Major Leagues between 1931 and 1945, 11 with the Brooklyn Dodgers and 3 with the New York Giants. Mungo was a national sensation as a young pitcher and the ace of the Brooklyn staff during the 1930's. Overall, a solid lower grade example that presents well from an interesting pre-war set.
