This card comes from the 1954 Red Heart Dog Food set, which is worth a look if you are not familiar with it. The presentation of these cards is outstanding! This particular card is well-centered with nice color and focus for the set. It has corner/edge/surface wear, but no creases other than a slightly bent upper back left corner more visible on the back than the front. Yost played 18 seasons in the Major Leagues, his first 14 with Washington followed by 2 with the Detroit Tigers and 2 final seasons with the expansion Los Angeles Angels of the American League. Yost was an outstanding Third Baseman nicknamed the "Walking Man" given his prowess at drawing walks. He retired after the 1962 season having played over 2100 Major League games.
