Undoubtedly one of the greatest switch-hitters of all-time he contributed a great amount to the success enjoyed by "The Gashouse Gang" in St. Louis in the 1930's. The Cards would win four pennants over eight seasons with Frisch in the batting order. The lifetime .316 BA is the highest ever for a switch hitter.
