A news-clipping caption on reverse recounts, "Where you find Babe Ruth you'll find some small boys. When the Bambino arrived in Minneapolis Saturday night some of his young admirers followed him right into the Radisson hotel to get his autograph and shake his hand. He is shown autographing a baseball for one happy youngster." To the best of our knowledge, the circumstances of his post-retirement visit to Minnesota were an exhibition game with the local police teams at Nicollet Park.
