Rare Opportunity to own an authentic Fro Joy Ice Cream card of the legendary Babe Ruth. Fro Joys are one of the  most elusive and trickiest of Ruth's to find. First they were only issued from August 6th-11th in 1928 and if you were lucky enough to complete the set could be turned in for an large photo of the Babe, which would have further decreased the available inventory.  In addition these cards have been heavily reprinted over the years and with age it has become increasingly difficult to tell them apart.  Based a very close and through review of the card I am certain that this card is authentic. Furthermore, this card was purchased as part of a complete set from Robert Edward Auctions, one of the most renowned auctions houses in the Sports collectibles industry, who also concluded that this card is authentic. This card is in Poor condition due paper loss on the front of the card, corner wear, centering & stains on the back of the card.
