1895 N300 Mayo's Cut Plug Hugh Duffy PSA Authentic [Altered]. Knowledgeable baseball fans might recognize the name of Hugh Duffy for one major accomplishment: He holds the single-season record for batting average, hitting an astounding .440 in 1894, also leading the league in doubles, home runs, and hits. However, he was not a one-season wonder, as his .326 career batting average attests. Offered here is a very respectable card featuring the Rhode Island-native which has been graded PSA Authentic [Altered]. The bottom of the card is trimmed. Still, a great-looking example for a card that has aged 129 years!
