Difficult to find well-centered example with vibrant color depicting Jack "Gulfport" Ryan of the Pacific Coast League Los Angeles Angels. Hall of Famer Frank Chance was a Player/Manager for the team. Ultra-low population. SGC has graded only 2 examples to-date and PSA has graded none. This card comes from the seventh consecutive set of cards issued by the Collins McCarthy Candy Company designed to promote their popular Zeenut candy bar and measures approximately 1 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches. Sets were produced annually starting in 1911 through 1937 in various formats. Zeenut cards produced from 1913 onward had a coupon bottom that was designed to be cut and submitted for redeeming prizes. This example has the coupon removed.
