Original news photo of Mickey Mantle at the plate as he lays down a bunt on September 16, 1955, in a game against the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. A "United Press Associations" credit stamp appears on the reverse, as does the original paper news caption (dated "9/16/55"). The photo (9 x 7 inches) has light creasing in the corners and a few stains on the reverse. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
