Published in France in 1962 from creator Jean-Claude Forest, Barbarella caused an instant sensation and eventually made its way to the big screen where Jane Fonda brought the character to the entire world. This magazine is near-impossible to find. And this is the only example of it for sale in the world- anywhere! Of the two graded copies in existence- this is the highest. The book presents incredibly well for a 5.0 and the white marks on the cover are not paper loss, but a printing defect caused by the ink not distributing to those areas. There is still high gloss across the entire cover.
