1968 O-Pee-Chee Nolan Ryan - Mets Rookies #177 PSA EX+ 5.5 The 1968 Topps rookie card of Nolan Ryan is a prize find, and a welcome addition to any collector's treasure trove. This listing features another version, much scarcer than the Topps or Milton Bradley variation, of the Strike Out King's 1968 rookie card, the Canadian Topps variation also known as O-Pee-Chee. The O-Pee-Chee rookie looks very similar to the Topps card, as it is also numbered #177, but the difference between the two is it has a 'printed in Canada' trademark in the bottom right-hand corner of the card's back. This card is very nicely centered, which is not a common feature amongst the O-Pee-Chee card set. 1 of 2 graded a 5.5 by PSA... only 74 total grade higher. Compared to the PSA population count of the Topps 1968 Nolan Ryan rookie card, there are 4,924 that grade a PSA 6 or higher!
