The cards in this set were issued in 1936 by the S. & S. Games Company of Chicago, IL as part of a board game entitled The National Game. This card is in fantastic shape and features Joe Vosmik of the Cleveland Indians. Vosmik began his career with Cleveland in 1929. Over a 15-year span, he also played for the St. Louis Browns, Boston Red Sox, Brooklyn Dodgers and Washington Nationals. At one point, he was considered a top Left Fielder in the game and finished his career with a .307 batting average. Overall, a solid upper grade example for your collection.
