1961 Topps #388 Roberto Clemente PSA 4.5 (HOF)

Description

I've got a nice looking 1961 Topps #388 card for Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente of the Pittsburg Pirates. Note: these cards were printed as Bob Clemente instead of Roberto. The card is graded as a 4.5 by PSA. The card will be shipped in a bubble mailer and protection will be added with cardboard on either side of the card. Will be shipped via USPS with tracking. FREE SHIPPING Here's a little background on this amazing player: In December 1972, Clemente died in the crash of a plane he had chartered to take emergency relief goods for the survivors of a massive earthquake in Nicaragua. After his sudden death, the National Baseball Hall of Fame changed its rules so that a player who had been dead for at least six months would be eligible for entry. In 1973, Clemente was posthumously inducted, becoming the first player from the Caribbean and second of Hispanic descent (after Lefty Gomez in 1972) to be honored in the Hall of Fame.
