1937 Wheaties Series 7 #29A Zeke Bonura Chicago White Sox Hand Cut Panel

Condition: MySlabs C (vg/ex)

Description

Starting in 1935, General Mills began producing various advertising panels on boxes of their popular Wheaties cereal depicting baseball players and other athletes of the day from various sports. They were intended to be cut by hand and collected. This hand cut beauty measures approximately 6" x 7 3/4" with the endorsement intact along the bottom. It comes from Series #7 issued in 1937 and features Henry John "Zeke" Bonura, First Baseman of the Chicago White Sox. The panel is in solid condition overall with an above average cut, vibrant color, sharp focus and a super clean back. There is a slight wrinkle along the bottom that is more noticeable on the back than the front. The panel will be shipped securely in a protective sleeve and toploader. You will receive a partial refund for shipping costs after payment is made either when multiple auctions are won within the same week or when multiple purchases occur within the same 24-hour period.

* Sales tax will be added to purchases where applicable. To make purchases tax free upload a valid resale certificate/license here or create a vault account here.
