Cecil is one of the most underrated players of the 90's---each at bat was a chance to see a ball blasted to a spot it's never been before. His most incredible shot may have been when he hit the ball onto the roof and out of the old Tigers Stadium! Cecil signed this piece and added 3 inscriptions "3x All Star" "Wild Bear" (his nickname while playing in Tokyo) and "Big Daddy" (his nickname in the US.) " Enjoy the vibrant colors and textures of a true Joshua Blankinship Original. Each 1/1 original painting is created with oils over acrylics on durable, translucent acrylic glass. Why acrylic glass? It's much more durable than canvas and other classical painting mediums while also being much more archival---this piece will last until the end of time and will not degrade. Each PAINTING is varnished, while each AUTOGRAPH and INSCRIPTION is NOT (unless you specifically request for the autograph and/or inscription be varnished before shipping)---this leaves the piece exactly as the athlete/celebrity touched and signed it. All paintings come signed in archival deco-color oil paint pen. Each signed painting comes with JSA authentication--a sticker on rear of the item as well as the JSA physical certificate of authenticity.
