Description

This is a very rare LOW MINT #256 “Error” variant. Was sent back to Todd for redo. He was supposed to write 256/1697 on cover under signature. He wrote #256/1967!!! Transposing the 69 to a 96. There were only 1,697 of these made so it’s significant. I have heard of only a handful of these error variants exist.
