1938 Goudey #269 Frank Pytlak Cleveland Indians
Description
Pytlak, who went by Frankie, played 12 seasons in the Major Leagues between 1932 and 1946 for the Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox. For a time during his career he was widely considered to be the best catcher in the American League. This card is the version that features small drawings and comments in the background. It has substantial corner/edge/surface wear, including a crease that impacts the lower left front/back right side. A lower grade example for your collection from an unusual set. Priced accordingly.
