Very Beautiful card of one of the greatest early English soccer/football players to ever live. Stanley Matthews was the first player to ever win the Ballan d'Or in 1956. He is the first and only football player to be knighted by the queen while during his playing career. Stanley Matthews played for Stoke City for 19 seasons, leading Stoke City to two titles. This is his true first rookie card, graded as an SGC 5 EX, with a re-drawn front indicator.
