Description

These cards were packed along with hot dogs in the 1950s and 1960s, and either issued as inserts or part of the packaging in later years. They are difficult to obtain in general, especially at higher grades due to staining and other condition issues. This card from the 1965 offering measures 3.5 inches by 3 inches. It is in poor/fair condition overall with surface/edge wear and bends/creases in multiple spots. There also is a 1 inch tear along the right edge that shows residue on both sides from tape applied at some point in the past and a small amount of paper loss on the front. However, the card does present well with strong color/focus/centering and minimal staining. Overall, it is a decent low grade example from one of the more interesting and difficult sets of the 1960s. Priced accordingly.
